I was 39 years old then. Me and my hubby was TTC for almost 7 yrs and in 2009 I was pregnant naturally...but unfortunately it was a bligted ovum...so D&C was perform on week 10..tat was very very sad for us which we need to accept...after tat i rested my body for few mths..taking all kind of chinese herbs..clomid for few mths n nothing happen...as our age is getting older so we went for IUI at one of the fertility centre...1st attempt was fail..then second attempt fail too the following mth...so we decided to go for IVF..under the same fertility centre too...
I only produce 6 follicles on ER & only 3 eggs that mature...3 of the eggs only 1 got fertilized with 8 cell & 0% fragmentation...doc say it is a very good quality embryo coz the cells also are all the same size...so I had my ET but with only this embryo......sadly my menses comes before my BETA test which is too early to have the menses even after failed IVF...was so heartbroken as my hubby n MIL puts lots of chance on this IVF attempt...
i give myself 1 more chance...i google the website about IVF n for our budget i choose metro ivf n sunfert...i made a number of enquiries with sunfert and metro... and also with my friends.. finally hubby and i decided to choose metro IVF...we ar4e glad that we made the right choice.... and continue all the way until we get our precious ones.. i called metro and was attended by Ms Lee their senior embryologist...she was very patince n polite...as i told her my history...she immediately gave me an app to meet Dr Tee the next day...
tat was my 2nd day of menses...i bring all my records n told Dr Tee my history..he is also very patience listening to my problem...so as my age is getting older Dr Tee suggest me to start immediately after my first fail ivf ...
I took the merdeka package in 2011... somebody scared tat they will use different medication coz they thought the package is cheap n they will give different medication...but there is no diff with the medication..just some promotion tat Metro having which really can help those with financial problem n wanted so much to do ivf n have own bb...From my personal experience i can tell Dr Tee is not tat kind of doc tat only look into buz n $..he really trying his best to help those who wanted to be parents..but of course he cant give us free...right??
i had 3 embryos transfer...2 with 8 cells & 1 with 7 cells...according to embryologist they are grade A embryo.. .i still have 4 frozen embryo too...for my age with such a good quantity of embryo is really thanks to Dr Tee
on the 8th day after ET doc check my BETA...i was already 92...doc say women that not pregnant is less than 5...if on the 8th day after ET can be more than 25 is consider good & pregnant...after 4 days that is 12 days after ET my BETA is already 570...so is confirm pregnant.... when i was 20dp3dt, ultrasound saw twins.....I m so happyyyy...
i delivered my two littles angels, Lorraine and Laney with Dr tee on 8/5/2012 when i was 36 weeks.... by cs... both jie jie and mei mei weighed 2.15kg... no incubator needed... thanks god...
